This organisation needed a complete reworking of their existing site in order to appeal to its split target audience of youthful prospective clients and organisers or sponsors that are keen to recommend them. The brief required UX research, UX design, branding, design and development.

To address the above, following user experience (UX) research and UX design implementation, including user and competitor research, wireframes and mock-ups; a branded catalogue site with a bright image-oriented feel was created to appeal to the more youthful aspect of the audience. Call-to-action, demonstration and proofing was used to maintain sponsor interest. The site features a user-friendly CMS and is fully responsive across all device sizes from mobile through to desktop. Features such as embedded video and audio, responsive video background and sliders aim to lend a youthful feel but additionally to reflect the audio bias of the organisation and to emphasise interactivity.

The requirement was for an online application that would receive data from user input and then automatically populate an existing CRM with the exact same data with no additional user input or assistance needed.

Based upon feedback from UX research, the above was attained by creating a dynamic web-based form that received user data input, verified and cleaned the data (for accuracy and security purposes), then sent the same (verified) data to the CRM system via integrating with the CRM’s exposed API, at the same time creating a seamless user experience. Copies of the data could then be posted into a database or sent by email for backup and verification purposes.

The business needed a website design and branding creation to appeal simultaneously to their prospective target audience as well as their financial investors. They were looking to enliven the business space occupied traditionally by more conservative business styles with a more vibrant and modern feel.

This was achieved by, following the conducting of user experience (UX) research and UX prototype designs and mockups, creating a clean and modern branded site featuring modern icons and fonts, with clear and easy navigation and enhanced by a responsive video background and integrated multimedia to aid the dynamic feel. The site then undertook a visual and functional overhaul for business purposes and the base was moved to the bootstrap framework for a faster iteration to mobile-first design. More vibrant colours were introduced and more iconography added. A switch from video background to a large image slider retained visual interest whilst allowing quick download speeds for all devices.

The business required a means of delivering uniquely branded questionnaires for candidates utilising an existing questionnaire SAAS. This would require the bespoke design of fully functional branded frontend templates and user interfaces to integrate with the backend SAAS and function on the frontend. An emphasis on mobile design was also required, as this formed an important part of the client’s own USP.

The brief was accomplished by designing and producing various bespoke themed templates, based upon UX research and prototypes, for user interface and front-end functionality unique to a variety of clients. All were fully responsive in design, working across all devices and most importantly supported a smooth and seamless mobile delivery of the SAAS questionnaires, to fall in line with the client’s service USP. The client needed a complete web presence design complete with web branding to showcase their image-rich high-tech photography services with the aims of generating more target audience interest.

User-focussed research was undertaken before various pre-build UX processes and documents, including user and competitor research, journeys, flows, sitemaps, wireframes and mock-ups, were produced to allow for rapid testing, prototyping and client feedback prior to build. The online brand and site were designed and developed to enable users to navigate the site and trial the embedded photography with ease. A clean and minimal interface was selected to allow the content room to showcase itself, whilst retaining a highly accessible and fluent user-experience. The site has incorporated multiple landing pages covering different promotions and products. It also features theme switching capability in order to allow the site to run multiple themes concurrently, allowing it to create different connotations for different occasions whilst remaining within one site base for a more integrated user experience.

The site also features embedded multimedia; uses a fully responsive design working across all devices from desktop to mobile; utilises an easy to use CMS; incorporates multimedia including video, 3d photography, animation, light-boxes and overlays for increased user interest, whilst maintaining ease of use. Various front to back end booking services are present with security features enabled.

The brief was fulfilled by analysing the client’s existing online presence and business goals before producing a comprehensive online marketing strategy and analysis report, highlighting the most profitable and cost effective channels to pursue. Then all online marketing tasks were undertaken in order to meet these aims. Tasks included creation, configuration and maintenance of PPC campaigns with targeted copywritten ads; SEO research and analysis; onsite SEO implementation including code tagging and SEO copywriting, as well as offsite SEO, including SEO copywriting; content marketing; banner ads, multimedia content; email marketing; analytics and statistical (data) analysis; and client reporting.

Through the above procedures the client was able to experience a large increase in footfall of their prospective clients, with greatly enhanced click-through rates resulting in a measurable increase in inquiries and sales from the online channel.

Designed project information web site to publicise e-government project. Redesigned, updated and maintained the content, layout and structure of the Abnormal Loads sections of the Department for Transport and Highways Agency web sites.

Consulted parties for technical and content requirements, web hosting, storyboarded and drafted concepts and navigational architecture. Researched site criteria to adhere to Government directives for accessibility. Created functional mock-up templates before producing operational sites.
